(Sorry, registration is full) - Special mine tour into a very exclusive & privately owned mine, we've arranged a special tour guide to be there to show us through the mine and provide access. The Ophir Hill has over 20+ miles of tunnels, stopes, raises, shafts, inclines, underground lakes, amazing natural formations, historical structures and equipment- Limited to 20 total participants. Open to ages 18 or older and some special equipment will be required (hard hat and a minimum of two light sources, a headlamp and flashlight is ideal). We will be meeting at at the Ophir Hill Mine at 9am sharp, please be there early to check in and make sure you ready to go. The mine is located on the north side of the road in nearly the middle of the town of Ophir, it won't be hard miss, look for my red Tacoma. Carpooling is recommended and due to the special nature of this trip we decided that rather than do any 4-wheeling before or after the mine trip, we would just concentrate on enjoying the mine. We will be spending approximately 4-5 hours inside of the mine, please bring water and snacks accordingly. Please call or email if you have any other questions before the trip.
